process
My philosophy is simple: Landscapes should foster relationships and connections. Our lives revolve around the people and places that are important to us. I want to help you cultivate those human relationships and create healthy connections to our amazing shrub-steppe environment through thoughtful design that speaks to you.
Consultation
After you fill out the discovery form and book a consultation (see the contact/book online page), we will meet at your project location where I will do a site evaluation and we will discuss your project criteria. A design agreement with the estimate for design services will be given to you at the end of the consultation.
Design
Once the design estimate is paid, we progress through the preliminary design and final design processes to arrive at the best solution for you! At the end, you will receive a scaled master plan that identifies all hardscape materials and plantings as well as a detailed cost estimate.
Construction
Time to bring it to life! Once the construction agreement is signed and the 50% deposit is paid, we will put your project on our installation schedule. We will locate utilities, request permits (if required), demo what needs to be removed, establish the new layout, and install irrigation, utilities, hardscape, and plants.
Closeout
We will create a punchlist, take care of the final details, give you any care instructions you may need for your new landscape, do a final walkthrough with you and collect the final payment. Then it is time for you to enjoy the fruits of our labor!
